Pink Shirt Day NB
The Boys & Girls Club of Riverview has run the Pink Shirt Day Campaign since 2010. Andrew was the Chair of the Pink Shirt Day NB campaign which promotes positive relationships and a collaborative approach to building a sense of belonging and resiliency to eliminate bullying and hurtful behaviour.
Riverview Arts Centre
Andrew has been appointed as the Council Liaison for the Riverview Arts Centre (R.A.C). The R.A.C hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year that promote culture and classical arts.
40th Anniversary Committee
Andrew has been appointed the Chair of Riverview's 40th Anniversary Committee. in 2013 Riverview Celebrates 40 years as a municipality!
Boys & Girls Club of Riverview
Andrew worked for the Boys & Girls Club from 2003-2018. The Club provides programs and services for children and youth in our community, including the Drop In youth center and After School Adventure Camp.
Riverview Crime Prevention Committee
Andrew is the former Vice President of the Riverview Crime Prevention Committee, a group dedicated to promoting a safe a supportive community.
Civic Engagement Committee
Andrew was appointed as the Chair for the Civic Engagement Committee in May of 2016. The committee brought forward the recommendation to Council to implement live streaming of Council meetings, ensuring our meetings are fully transparent.
Tri-Community Liaison
Andrew was appointed by Mayor Seamans as the Tri-Community Liaison which involves communicating with Moncton & Dieppe to assist, if need be, in planning Tri-community Council Meetings.
Oktoberfest Market 2012
Andrew was appointed as the Councillor rep to work with staff on running the 2012 Oktoberfest Market as part of the Town's Harvest Fest.
Codiac Transpo
Andrew was appointed as Council liaison on the Codiac Transpo Governance Committee from 2014-2016
Envision Riverview
Andrew was appointed as the Council rep to work with staff and residents on the Town's Sustainability Committee that will build a Sustainable Development Plan. The committee planned a variety of community engagement pieces including Sustain-a-palooza. Appointed July 14, 2014
Atlantic Wellness
Andrew is the Executive Director for the Atlantic Wellness Community Center, a non-profit that offers free mental health services to youth age 12-21.
Community Investment Policy Review
Andrew was appointed as the Chair of the Community Investment Policy Review Committee that will evaluate our municipal grant process
