Presentations and Delegations
Cal Maskery, founder and executive director of Harvest House provided an update on its services and impact to the community.
Peter MacDonald, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton, explained the agency’s role in the community and its recent fundraising efforts.
Mary O’Donnell gave an overview of Moncton Headstart and benefits to Riverview citizens.
Mike Randall from Portfolio Marketing and Communications presented the Town’s new threeyear Marketing Strategy.

Council Recommendations
Council accepted the three-year Marketing and Communications Strategy as presented.
Council accepted the recommendation from the Community Wellness Centre Committee to award the Request for Quote for Fundraising Proposal Requirements (Wellness Centre) to BNP Philantropic Performance in the amount of $25,000 plus HST
Council approved the purchase of 1.08 acres (a portion of PID # 00649046) to maintain the Town’s existing park space at the site of the former Gunningsville School. The Province plans to sell the land as surplus since the school was closed. The Town maintains a basketball and tennis court at this location. Cost: $23,450 plus HST, survey, legal fees and transfer tax.
These recommendations will be brought forward for adoption at the next Regular Council Meeting.
