2017 Community Investment Annual Grants

Council received 26 community investment applications with requests totalling $89,900. After considering all applications, Council awarded funding to 20 community organizations valuing $42,650.

Greater Moncton Crime Stoppers -1,000

Greater Moncton Music Festival -1,000

Greater Moncton Santa Claus Parade - 1,000

Harmonie Codiac Concert Band - 500

HubCap Comedy Festival - 2,500

Riverview Scouting (Group Committee) - 1,750

Tenders

  • A tender for janitorial services was awarded in the amount of $258,384 plus HST to Maid-Exec Ltd for a three-year period. Maid-Exec Ltd will supply janitorial services for the majority of Town of Riverview buildings including Town Hall, Riverview Fire & Rescue, RCMP building, Operations Centre, Parks & Recreation office, Riverview Community Hall, Skate Park and Bridgedale Centre.

Other Business Council approved a proposed Memorandum of Understanding with the Cities of Moncton and Dieppe on Regional Economic Development presented by the Chief Administrative Officer.
