2. By-Laws

Council heard second reading, by section only and third reading by title only of by-law 400-15-04, a by-law relating to the collection and disposal of waste in the Town of Riverview. This by-law updates our by-law to reflect the changes recently made by Eco-360 with regard to garbage collection. Also, if haven’t already done so, check out the Eco-360 app! It’s super helpful with determining what goes where and gives you the schedule of which bags go out on which weeks.

$250 for the Christmas Daddies Telethon - Dec. 3, 2016

6. Holiday Lighting

Council authorized a $25,000 purchase of commercial holiday lights to illuminate the Riverfront Trail from the Fundy Chocolate River Station to Pine Glen Road. We often hear from residents that they would like more lights and decorations during the holidays so we want to work to help create a great atmosphere! There’s a great opportunity for businesses to decorate as well. Let’s all be festive together. Side note: I love Christmas more than any other holiday and am super excited for my daughters first Christmas this year….tree’s going up this weekend!

The Rotary recently constructed an amazing entryway in Mill Creek however not all of the funding was available and thus an agreement has been made wherein they will repay the remaining funds after their next RibFest fundraiser.
